Answers to your questions

Frequently asked questions

Hello you, glad you’re here. We know clothing isn’t just about fabric and fit, it’s about the story you carry with you. These questions are the ones we hear most often, answered the way we’d tell a friend over coffee in Tribeca. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, reach out — we’d love to hear from you.

Our Clothes

It means the piece is meant to stay. Not just because it’s well made, but because it becomes part of your life. The shirt you reach for again and again, the jacket you pack first, the piece someone else in your house secretly steals.

Because clothing should feel intentional. We make 30 to 50 pieces at a time, so each one carries the attention it deserves. You’re not buying something mass produced, you’re collecting a small part of a story.

We work with natural fibers that age beautifully. Modal for softness, Supima cotton for strength, and cashmere for that quiet luxury feel. Everything is tested and worn by us before it’s offered to you.

All of our designs begin in our Tribeca studio in New York. From there, we work with trusted small-batch partners in and around New York, as well as a few highly skilled specialists in other regions who share our standards. Every partner is chosen for their craft and care, never for shortcuts.

Fit and Care

Our pieces are cut with real life in mind. Tees and henleys run small, so men often size up. If you’re unsure, reach out to us. We’d rather chat with you than have you guess.

Treat them like something you want to keep. Wash cold, line dry, and avoid harsh chemicals. Cashmere loves a gentle hand wash or professional cleaning. Simple care means your clothes will last longer and feel better over time.

you can also review each product on our website to see how each should individually be washed and cared for.

Philosophy

Because we design with memory in mind, not the algorithm. We’d rather make pieces that still feel right ten years from now than something that’s out of style next month.

Vintage base layers, worn-in workwear, mornings in Tribeca, weekends upstate. We start with a feeling, then build it into something you’ll actually want to wear.

We don’t turn it into a marketing slogan. We just live it. Small batches, natural fibers, seasonless pieces, and close relationships with the people who sew our clothes.

Community

Yes, if you’re in New York. We love hosting private appointments in Tribeca. Just reach out to schedule.

Rarely. We might revisit a shape, but never in the exact same way. Once it’s gone, it usually becomes part of the archive.

Join our Heirloom Letters. Think of them as quiet notes from us. A little story, a peek behind the scenes, and sometimes first access to new pieces.

Orders and Shipping

We usually ship within 2 to 4 business days from our studio. Because batches are small, sometimes a piece takes longer. If that happens, we’ll keep you updated.

Right now we focus on the U.S., but if you live elsewhere and have your eye on something, send us a note. We’ll do our best to make it happen.

Yes, you’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our hands. Every box is folded, packed, and tied with care before it travels to you.

Exchanges and Returns

If a piece doesn’t feel right, let us know within 14 days and we’ll help you exchange it or return it. No fuss, no guilt, so long as its still in its original condition.

Yes, as long as the garment comes back unworn and unwashed. We believe in trust both ways.
